A deck of cards is a calendar in disguise. 52 cards, 52 weeks. 4 suits, 4 seasons. 13 cards in each suit, 13 moon cycles in a year. Add up every card, counting Jack as 11, Queen as 12 and King as 13, and you get 364. The Joker makes 365.

The card of your birthday is your birth card. It never changes, and everyone born on your day shares it, whatever the year.
Your year
Seven chapters of 52 days
Each year of your life runs from one birthday to the next and splits into seven chapters of 52 days. Each chapter is named after a planet (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune) and holds a card of its own. The cards change every year, so no two of your years read the same.
Why people read it
What it gives you day to day
Know what season you are in. A chapter tells you where life is likely to ask for your attention: money, love, work, rest. Not what will happen, but where to look.
Plan with the grain. Some chapters favour starting things, others favour finishing them. Knowing the dates lets you put a launch, a talk or a move where it has room.
Make sense of a hard stretch. When a chapter carries a difficult card, it helps to know it has an end date.
