Ace of Hearts people are born starters. The first card in the deck, they are driven by a wish to be loved and an even bigger need to find out who they are. They leap first and ask questions later, and most of their questions about love turn out to be questions about themselves.

The Ace of Hearts is the first card of the deck and the card of the heart's first impulse: the wish to love and be loved. It marks new feelings, new relationships, and sometimes a new arrival in the family. Underneath, it points inward. It is a card of soul-searching and of learning what helps a person love who they are, since the people drawn close tend to reflect what is being searched for inside.
